Joris Jonker, CEO Joris is our main representative to the outside world, leading all commercial efforts, joining steering committees and being the prime interface towards our investors. Joris has a longstanding experience in international sales and management in both the enterprise and wholesale arena. He has managed and coached multicultural professionals in a wide variety of countries. Joris holds a degree in technical business management, and enjoys the sea from underneath as a scuba diver and from above when sailing it on his catamaran. He started automating his own room as a kid, which ultimately led to founding our company together with: Arjen Noorbergen, CTO Previous to founding HAE, Arjen was Director of Technical Operations EMEA for a publicly listed US-based telecoms operator. He has always operated at the boundaries of sales, technology and operations and is capable of building bridges between disciplines. He is responsible for the strategic leadership of our company, including our product development roadmap. Arjen holds a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from the Delft University of Technology. Occasional holidays are to far away countries, if not to his farm in France, where he spends time on an overambitious restoration project, and met: Ivo de la Rive Box, CFO Before joining the team, Ivo founded a pioneering mobile payments provider in the UK, which successfully deployed its payment platform with two of Asia's largest mobile operators. As a team-player he is good in communicating with people from different disciplines, which allows him to manage the financial side of the company as well as the relationships we have in the complex ecosystem of small and large companies that try to cooperate to deliver innovative solutions to consumers. Ivo received a Masters degree in Applied Physics from the Delft University of Technology after studying at Pomona College (California). He holds three nationalities, speaks five languages, and can often be found on the roof of his old monastery in France, which he is restoring with friends. Hanneke van der Horst, Director of Industrial Design She makes sure that the interests of consumers are defended in a technical environment, and forces everyone in the company to make things look attractive, easy to use and therefore user-friendly in its broadest sense. Before joining the company she gained extensive experience in the world of home automation, by researching the needs of end-users and defining the specifications for larger projects. Hanneke also graduated from the Delft University of Technology, logically in the field of Industrial Design. Whenever she is not speeding through the Dutch countryside on her bicycle, she designs and builds her own furniture together with her husband. |
Henk van Essen, Manager Projects and Services Henk created the environment to deliver our internal and external projects in time and with high quality. He helps our people to deliver according to contract and guards our performance in this respect. Futhermore he is responsible for our service activities. Henk received a master degree in Experimental Physics at the University of Amsterdam. Before joining us he had a rich career in Information Technology, proces and organisation development and program management. He brings lots of experience in numerous aspects of our business. Herman Meeuwsen, Software Development manager As the leader of the development team, Herman works closely with all his technical specialists to deliver quality software for the full range of home (energy) management systems. He is also very keen on the continuous improvement of the internal development processes. As a Master in Computer Science from Twente University, Herman has worked in the role of development manager for various ICT companies, where he gained experience in a wide variety of technologies, platforms and practices. Next to his technical background and experience with IT, Herman has
developed his own personal skills to coach individuals and to help teams
improve their cooperation and performance. Other personal skills involve
driving his motorbike through traffic jams and running very early in the
morning to keep fit. |
